Carlos Castañeda is Of Counsel to the firm. Born and raised in San Antonio, Carlos is the first generation son of physicians who immigrated from Mexico. He is a board certified specialist in immigration law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and fluent in Spanish. Carlos has a wide range of experience with other immigration firms. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin School of Law with a JD degree and a Master of Laws degree, Carlos has also worked in the Texas Legislature and at the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services (RAICES), the largest non-profit organization focused on immigration law in Texas.
